Marathi actress Amruta Khanvilkar is preparing for the release of her film Chandramukhi on Friday. And for this, she and the movie’s team is leaving no stone unturned in promoting it. She has gone to great lengths to ensure that her film, on which she has worked tirelessly, receives the attention it deserves.
Amruta went on to say that when one of her colleagues suggested that we promote this film on a national scale by having posters placed on aircrafts, it could become the first Marathi film to do so.
It has now been confirmed that Amruta will be the first Marathi actress to have her poster displayed on an actual plane. "Chandramukhi is truly unique, not only for me but also for my entire team. We want to show the world how rich our country is in terms of content creation," a statement to the media from the makers read.
When it comes to Chandramukhi the film stars Addinath Kothare as the male lead. Mrunmayee Deshpande, Mohan Agashe, Sameer Chaughule, and many others play pivotal roles in the film. The film is based on the life of a Lavani dancer who encounters an unusual incident in her life that changes the course of her life.
Prasad Oak, a national award-winning actor-director, directs the film, which is produced by Akshay Bardapurkar under his Planet Marathi banner.
Chandramukhi will be released in theatres on April 29, 2022.
