Chandramukhi 2: Jyotika is all praise for Kangana Ranaut, says she is a huge fan of her work

Kangana Ranaut is all set to be seen in Tamil once again with P Vasu's Chandramukhi 2, in which she has teamed up with Raghava Lawrence.  The latest we hear is that the film's release has been pushed from September 15 to September 28 due to post production delay.

Jyotika all praise for Kangana
Meanwhile, Jyotika, who played Chandramukhi in the 2005 film, which was also helmed by P Vasu, is all praise for the Dhaakad actress. Calling herself a huge fan of Kangana's work, Jyotika wrote on her social media handle, "Feel extremely proud to see one of the most talented actresses of Indian cinema to play chandramukhi's role. U look ravishing as chandramukhi @kanganaranaut Huge fan of your work and waiting to see this one specially for you. All the best Lawrence master and P. Vasu sir yet another success (sic)."

Kangana calls Jyotika, a tremendous actress
Kangana, too showered praise on Jyotika and stated that the actress had had a huge impact on the franchise. She said, "Jyotika is a tremendous actress and has a huge impact on the franchise. Though I didn't have a chance to meet her, I recently saw in a video, where she had said that I am her favourite actor. I am humbled by that gesture.“ #Chandramukhi2 (sic)."

Rajinikanth and Jyotika's performance inspired Kangana
In a recent interview, Kangana stated that it was the performance of Superstar Rajinikanth and Jyotika in the 2005 film that inspired her to take up the project. She stated that she loved Chandramukhi and that when she saw the film a long time ago, she didn't feel like she should be part of the film as it was a complete film on its own. "But many years later, when this film was being considered, I had this desire that I play the role. Rajinikanth ji and Jyotika ma'am performed so well that it made me want to be part of something like this."
