On October 26, the eighth season of the Karan Johar-hosted Koffee With Karan will premiere, and the show's fans can't wait. However, a number of videos from earlier seasons are currently trending on social media. One such video of Salman Khan from the fourth season, in which the actor can be seen stating that the character of Aman in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, the second lead in the movie, was refused by Saif Ali Khan and Chandrachur Singh despite there being no projects in the works, is doing the rounds on the internet.

According to reports, Karan Johar tried to cast Chandrachur and Saif Ali Khan as Aman but they turned him down. Salman eventually took up the part. In the video, Karan can be heard saying, ''I remember the first time I ever came to your zone to narrate my first film to you. Saif and Chandrachur had said no to the role. And you said that no one’s going to do your role, you come and meet me tomorrow.''

Salman responded by saying, "It wasn't difficult for you to cast Shah Rukh Khan in the movie, but it was very tough for you to cast Saif at that time because he was doing nothing. Chandrachur was doing nothing. Even they turned it down. "I did it, Karan. I saw talent, I saw genius in you. And after that you never worked with me,'' he added.

Chandrachur Singh responded to the viral Instagram video by writing, "Jhooth Salman Ka."

On the social media platform, a person questioned Chandrachur over the falsity of Salman's statement. He explained in his comments by writing, ''Mere paas Josh, Daag The Fire, Kya Kehna, Silsila Hai Pyaar Ka, etc. This. I made a choice.''

The actor eventually deleted his Instagram comments, but a screenshot of them was quickly posted on Reddit. Take a look:
