Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui trailer is finally here. The Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor starrer film chronicles the love story between a cross-functional athlete and a transgender. The upcoming romantic film has been directed by Abhishek Kapoor.

The latest trailer begins with Ayushmann in a gym exercising with heavy dumbbells and barbells. The actor can be seen preparing for a tough competition as well. While Vaani, who will be seen as a transgender, is essaying the character of a Zumba instructor in the film. The upcoming unique and relatable story is imbued with dollops of humour and intricate emotions.

Moving ahead, the trailer shows the couple completely into each other, however, after realising that the actress is transgender, the Vicky Donor actor can be seen struggling to accept the truth.

Talking about the film the filmmaker said in a recent statement that it’s not just any love story but one that's uniquely mind-bending and yet universal in its appeal. “I have always believed in curating stories that are intricately woven and characters that resonate with people. Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui is very close to my heart and I hope the audiences will appreciate all our hard work,” added the director.

While one of the producers, Pragya Kapoor mentioned her thoughts about the recently released trailer in a statement as well and said that it will set the tone of the film and it's sure to resonate with the audiences. “We've made the film with a lot of heartfelt conviction and it's a story that needs to be told," she added.

Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui is set to have a theatrical release on December 10.
