Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui: Ayushmann Khurrana unveils new poster before trailer release

Starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor, the romantic drama will be out in theatres on December 10.

Ayushmann Khurrana is all set to charm audiences with his romantic hero persona yet again. Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui which will see him star alongside Vaani Kapoor, has released its new poster recently. The film’s trailer will be released soon today.

Khurrana took to his Instagram handle to give audiences a glimpse of the new poster.

As in the motion poster released before it, the new brightly coloured poster shows a still of the lead couple.

In the caption, Khurrana reminded the audience of the film’s theatrical release on December 10.

The film will trace the love story between a cross functional athlete and a transgender person. The actor had referred to the film earlier as a ‘delightful progressive love story’.

Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui was the first Indian film to wrap up shooting during the pandemic, finishing production back in December 2020.

The film was shot in Chandigarh, Khurrana’s hometown, another reason the National Film Award winning actor considers the film close to his heart.

The upcoming romantic drama is directed by Abhishek Kapoor, of Rock On!! fame. In addition to Khurrana and Kapoor, the film also stars Abhishek Bajaj.

Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui is backed by T-Series and Guy In The Sky Pictures. Bhushan Kumar and Pragya Kapoor also serve as the film’s producers.
