Paarijatha Parvam, a crime comedy, is directed by Santosh Kambhampati
Chaitanya Rao, Sunil, Shraddha Das and Malavika Satheesan are coming together for a crime comedy titled Paarijatha Parvam. The film is directed by Santosh Kambhampati (who helmed Boyfriend for Hire earlier) and produced by Mahidhar Reddy and Devesh under Vanamali Creations. The concept teaser for the film was unveiled by Keedaa Cola filmmaker Tharun Bhascker yesterday.
At the promo launch, Chaitanya spoke about the film and Tharun Bhascker. “I have always been a big admirer of Tharun Bhascker’s work. I was slightly hesitant about inviting him to the event, given his other professional commitments. The director and the producer were adamant about his presence. I couldn’t thank him enough for Keedaa Cola; my career has changed after that,” he said.

“I hope Paarijatha Parvam is as successful as Keedaa Cola; we really liked the film and all of us got interesting roles. There’s a lot of meme-worthy material in Paarijatha Parvam. I personally liked Harsha’s role a lot. Many will connect with my character and my struggle (not the kidnapping angle — laughs) in the film,” Chaitanya, who was also seen in the rural entertainer Annapurna Photo Studio, added.
While Chaitanya admitted he’s not aware of how far the teaser or other promotional material will reach audiences, he stated, “I can confidently say that we’ve made a good film. Provided we get a decent release, it is a potential super hit. I am sure Paarijatha Parvam will be remembered in my career. We’re hoping for an impressive release; taking a film to audiences is as important as making it.”
The actor shared that it would hurt him when a good film doesn’t live up to its potential. “Paarijatha Parvam is a kidnapping crime comedy. I thank my producers; I believe they’ll get their money back,” he signed off. Srikanth Iyengar, Surekha Vani, Sameer, Gundu Sudarshan, Jabardast Apparao, Tarzan, Gaddam Naveen, Thotapalli, Madhu and Jabardast Rohini are also part of the cast. Ree scores the music.
