Director Tinu Pappachan is known for his expertise in creating action-packed movies. However, his latest release Chaaver is a departure from his usual style, as it focuses more on emotions rather than action. In a recent interview, the filmmaker opened up about his rumoured upcoming projects with Mohanlal and Vikram.

“There have been many people who turned down my scripts. I had presented one to Mohanlal, which unfortunately did not work for him. It is challenging to convince veterans like Mohanlal, who have been in the industry for so many years. However, I believe that there are still opportunities for me to meet him again and narrate a new script,” Tinu told Mathrubhumi News.

Chaaver: A different attempt in Tinu Pappachan's career

Chaaver is a political thriller that revolves around political murders and incidents in the northern part of Kerala. Tinu has attempted to make a unique movie within the genre by not following the typical templates of previous political thrillers. The film incorporates traditional art forms, such as Thira and Theyyam in the narrative, adding more depth to the story. Unlike his previous projects, Ajagajantharam and Swathanthryam Ardharathriyil, Chaaver is not an out-and-out action film.
