CCL 2025: Karnataka Bulldozers to miss all-rounder Pradeep Bogadi in Season 11

Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) 2025 is set to kick off on January 31, ahead of which practice sessions have already begun for the 8 teams. Last year’s runner-up Karnataka Bulldozers have also been busy preparing for the 11th Season of the tournament and one notable absentee was skipper Pradeep Bogadi, one of the team’s key players. Fans who noticed that Pradeep was missing crucial practice sessions had reached out to him why he wasn’t with the team and the actor has now clarified the same.

Pradeep will not be playing CCL 2025. The Karnataka Bulldozers skipper and all-rounder took to social media to explain that he’s been nursing an injury to his knee and that as much as he loves representing the industry at the tournament, he’s had to take the difficult decision to step back from the on-field action this season. He will, however, be cheering for his team from the sidelines, he said, adding that the hope is for the Karnataka Bulldozers to win this time.

In Pradeep’s absence, Kiccha Sudeep is likely to lead the team, with tournament regulars like J Karthik, Suneel Raoh, Rajeev Hanu, Prasanna, Prathap, Darling Krishna, Chandan, etc. still around. Golden Star Ganesh will be part of the Karnataka Bulldozers this time.

CCL 2025 announced: Here’s when to expect Season 11 of Celebrity Cricket League

The Sandalwood team will have their first match of the season on February 2 in Hyderabad, when they take on Akhil Akkineni’s Telugu Warriors in the last match of the weekend. This year, the Bulldozers will have two home ground matches, against last year’s winner, the Bengal Tigers, and then the Bhojpuri Dabanggs, respectively, on February 14 and 15.

In the 10 editions of the tournament so far, the Karnataka Bulldozers have played 7 finals, winning only 2 though. They’ve always been one of the more successful sides, crashing out in the group stage only once, in 2017.
