When the team of the Dhanveerah and Sreeleela starrer ByTwo Love announced the release of a lyrical video on October 29, not even in their wildest dreams did they think it would turn out to be a dark day in the history of Kannada cinema, what with the unfortunate passing of Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar. Shortly after the team went ahead and got Rakshit Shetty to launch the lyrical video of the song, I Hate Love as per their plan at 11:11 am, rumours of the actor’s death began doing the rounds, with an official confirmation coming a few hours later. Theatres were shut and everything filmi too in respect to the late actor, including screenings of Bhajarangi 2, which had just released, so the song did not, perhaps, get the viewership it should have.

The song, composed and sung by B Ajaneesh Loknath, who is joined by CR Bobby on vocals, features Dhanveerah and Sreeleela, in what appears to be a peppy dance number. Among the fleeting visuals from the actual video are sections of the duo busting a few energetic moves, choreographed by Bhushan master.

The film, meanwhile, is a family drama with a love story at its core, set between two corporate employees, as has been evident from the birthday teasers that the team released for both Sreeleela and Dhanveerrah. According to the team, the film is set in a present-day scenario and looks at the lifestyle of the current generation. But what piqued everyone’s interest is a poster from the film that featured the lead pair in wedding attire and a toddler along. Dhanveerrah has been quoted as saying that Bytwo Love is very different from his debut Bazaar; an out-and-out love story. “It’s a story that will appeal to all audiences,” he said about his next release.
