At the French Embassy in New Delhi on Thursday, Anushka and her husband Virat Kohli met with the French ambassador, Emmanuel Lenin. The festival will take place in France, known as the global centre of fashion, and the ambassador hinted in the post's caption that he and the actor would be discussing her upcoming trip.
Lenin captioned the photo on his Twitter page, stating, "A pleasure meeting @imVkohli and @AnushkaSharma! I wished Virat and #TeamIndia all the best for the upcoming tournaments and discussed Anushka's trip to #CannesFilmFestival."
