Cannes 2022: Pooja Hegde manages to pull off great looks despite losing bags during travel, here’s what happened

Pooja Hegde made her Red Carpet debut this year at the Top Gun: Maverick premiere at Cannes 2022. The actress looked gorgeous in a pink pastel gown embellished with feathers but it was not an easy ride up there.

The Beast actor recently revealed the roller coaster ride that she had at the Cannes Film Festival. In an interview with Film Companion, the actress revealed how all of her clothing and makeup were misplaced and she just discovered about it after landing at the French Riviera.

According to the actress, they lost all of her hair products, cosmetics, and clothing. She only got a pair of real jewellery from India, which she kept in her handbag.

"We couldn’t cry about it because we didn’t have time to do that. I think probably my manager panicked more than me. But I was like, ‘okay fine. Let's hop in the car. Let’s do fittings here. I will figure out the outfit’," she added.

The star went on to describe how her staff went and bought new things for her in a reasonable time frame. Before the red carpet appearance, the actress and her team did not even have time to eat a meal. However, the actress is grateful to have had such an excellent team by her side during such an exhausting situation, saying, "I am here because of them."

The actress said that just one of her suitcases was checked in, with the rest remaining in India. Nonetheless, the actress looked beautiful on her Cannes debut and made quite an impression among her fans.
