Calling Sahasra is TV actor Sudigali Sudheer's latest Telugu film. Amazon Prime Video has bagged the OTT rights to the film.

Sudigali Sudheer is a big name on Telugu television and he is now slowly making his presence felt as a lead actor in Tollywood. The title of his last film release was Calling Sahasra, which was released in theatres on December 1, 2023. Though the film had a decent opening thanks to Sudheer's craze, it failed to work at the box office due to its mediocre content.
We at OTTplay have already reported that the digital rights to the film were bagged by Amazon Prime Video. Well, as per the update, Calling Sahasra is now streaming on Prime Video. We have come to know that the makers are in the safe zone thanks to the amount they bagged through the digital rights.
Dollysha is cast as the female lead in the Arun Vikkirala directorial. Spandana Palli and Siva Balaji play other key roles in the film, produced by Vijesh Kumar Tayal, Chiranjeevi Pamidi, and Venkateswarulu Katuri under Shadow Media Productions and Radha Arts.

Calling Sahasra was in the making for close to three years. The film had faced budget issues and delays in the shoot but the makers managed to release the film on December 1, 2023. They did not have extended promotions and that is also one of the reasons not many knew about the film's release.
Sudheer's last film, Gaalodu, was promoted in an aggressive way. Even though people thought that the film had flopped, it made decent money and ended in the safe zone. That was not the case with Calling Sahasra. which is a thriller.
Calling Sahasra is about a girl named Sahasra and the hero, played by Sudheer, gets called to her time and again. There is a conspiracy behind all this and Sudheer solves it in the film.
Mohith Rahmaniac has composed the songs for Calling Sahasra, while Mark K Robin has worked on the background score. D Shashi Kiran cranked the camera for the same while Garry Bh is the editor. Shivaraj choreographed the action sequences.
