Varun Dhawan announced the new Prime Video series.
Varun Dhawan is a big fan of both Prime Video and Prime Bae. He has come back with a brand-new update about the upcoming Call Me Bae series on the streaming service. In a funny video he shared, the actor introduced Ananya Panday as Bae in the upcoming Amazon Original series Call Me Bae. In the video, the Gehraiyaan actor shows off her inner fashionista and has a lively conversation with Varun about the finer points of fashion and couture. They did this to promote the next Amazon Original Series, which just started filming.
In the video, Ananya asks Meryl Streep for her blessing and says the famous monologue from The Devil Wears Prada by the legendary actor. However, Ananya gives her twist to the monologue, leaving Varun perplexed as to how.

In the show, Ananya Panday's character Bae is a millionaire fashionista whose wealthy family rejects her after she does something lewd. For the first time ever, she is left to care for herself. She dispels misconceptions, navigates biases, and learns about her true self along the way.
Collin D'Cunha is in charge of directing Call Me Bae. Executive producers for the show are Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishta of Dharmatic Entertainment. Ishita Moitra's Call Me Bae which she also co-wrote with Samina Motlekar and Rohit Nair, will be made available to Prime subscribers when it debuts.
Meanwhile, on the movie front, Ananya will next be seen in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan co-starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav. The actor is also the female lead in Dream Girl 2, which stars Ayushmann Khurrana in the titular role. Ananya recently said that she had finished working on a movie directed by Vikramaditya Motwane. The movie is now in the post-production stage.
