The much-awaited Byomkesh O Durgo Rohoshyo is going to hit the theatre on August 11. The trailer has already been released where Dev stunned everyone in his Byomkesh Bakshi avatar. The trailer of the film hints at a big-screen experience. Besides Dev, ace actor Ambarish Bhattacharya plays Ajit and Rukmini Maitra plays Satyabati.
Amidst their promotion schedule, Dev and Rukmini – known to be dating for a long time – came on live during a coffee break on Friday. They shared light moments and their experience on the film sets with their fans. Rukmini praised Dev and garnished it with some joking criticism.

In fact, Rukmini praised Birsa also and said she had not seen such a level-headed director before. “Birsa never shouted in the set, which is rare among the directors,” said Rukmini.
Rukmini said about Dev, “He is a supportive co-actor. Everyone who worked with him says that. But he scolds me a bit more. I can rather be a bit more relaxed while working with others.”
Rukmini is also working with Jeet on a sci-fi film, Boomerang. Dev asked her, “So you were more comfortable working with Jeet?” Rukmini answered “Of course. Jeet is hundred percent love love love.”
She further added, “Dev guided me a lot in Champ. But he set me free while doing Cockpit. This time, after shooting the second scene of Satyabati, he told me that people would love me. I do not know why he said this because he loves me or because he saw me for so many years. But Satyabati is also my favourite character.”
Dev told the audience, “I think you have to come to the halls to enjoy the film. You can not have fun watching it on TV or mobile. Please bring your kids. We made the film so that the kids can also watch it.”
