Megastar Chiranjeevi's last film, Bholaa Shankar ended as a massive flop at the box office. After taking a break for six months, he is now shooting for his new film, Vishwambhara, which is being directed by Vassistha of Bimbisara fame. Apart from this film, Chiranjeevi is also in talks with a few popular directors in Telugu cinema.

We at OTTplay have come to know that the Sye Raa actor has given a formal nod to director Harish Shankar. Going into details, Chiranjeevi, in many of his interviews, wished to act in a film directed by Harish Shankar. One of the sources close to the star reveals to us that Harish Shankar narrated a social drama to Chiranjeevi a few days ago, and the star hero okayed the project right away.
Harish Shankar is known to showcase his heroes in a very entertaining manner and has penned a solid script for Chiranjeevi. The word is also that Chiranjeevi will play his age in the film which will start rolling in the month of October 2024. The production house and other details of the film will be announced soon.
As of now, Harish Shankar is shooting for his new film Mr Bachchan which stars Ravi Teja as the main lead. The said project is the official remake of Ajay Devgan's hit film, Raid. On the other hand, Chiranjeevi is busy with the shooting of Vishwambhara which is a fantasy drama being made on a massive budget.
Trisha to romance Chiranjeevi in Vishwambhara
