Aayush Sharma and Zaheer Iqbal have reportedly walked out of the upcoming film.
Salman Khan’s upcoming film seems to have hit quite a few roadblocks right in the initial stages of its production. But the makers seem to be working on smoothing things out at lightning speed. Jassie Gill and Siddharth Nigam have reportedly come on board for the film, after reports emerged that two important cast members walked out.
According to a report in Pinkvilla, Gill and Nigam, along with Raghav, will play the roles of Khan’s three brothers in the film. The makers were reportedly looking out for actors with ‘comic timing’ and had selected the actors based on that. The stars are set to join Khan for the film’s shoot in Mumbai. Gill and Nigam had joined the film almost a week ago, and their look tests had also been completed. The report also stated that more actors were in the process of being cast, and the makers would announce the film and its title this week.
Khan’s upcoming project was initially titled as Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, but the makers seem to be reconsidering the name at the moment. The film had witnessed several snags ever since its announcement. Aayush Sharma and Zaheer Iqbal were also reportedly a part of the project, but the duo had walked out of the film recently. Pooja Hegde will essay the role of the female lead in the project, which also features Venkatesh and Shehnaaz Gill. Gill will be making her Bollywood debut with the project.
Touted to be an action comedy, the film was initially going to be directed by Farhad Samji. But reports have emerged that Khan himself has taken on the responsibilities of ‘ghost directing the project now’. Khan is already a producer on the project, bankrolling it under his home banner, Salman Khan Films.
