Buzz: Is Arjun Kapoor and Mudassar Aziz’s new movie titled Meri Patni Ka Remake?

It is also reported that the makers are already in talks with two actresses who will play the female leads in this comedy.

Director Mudassar Aziz has reportedly chosen a title for his upcoming comedy movie with Arjun Kapoor. The movie is named Meri Patni Ka Remake and will also have two actresses for female leads.

A source close to the development told Pinkvilla that Aziz is confident that the title would pique the interest of the audience. They added that the name

fits the universe that the director is attempting to establish in his comic adventure. The source added that this is the first “out-and-out comedy” for Kapoor and for this the actor is “excited.”

It is reported that the movie, which is being produced by Vashu and Jackky Bhagnani, will go into production in the second half of 2022.

The Pinkvilla report adds that pre-production work has already begun. The producers are also nearing completion on a big ensemble cast for this funny adventure. Meri Patni Ka Remake will reportedly feature several actors known for their comic timing.

However, there has been no official release from the creators to confirm the project or its title.

Aziz is known for popular films like Happy Bhaag Jayegi and Pati Patni Aur Woh. Among his upcoming projects is Double XL a comedy starring Sonakshi Sinha and Huma Qureshi.

Meanwhile, Kapoor. , has two more comedy projects in the works alongside his father, producer Boney Kapoor. Comali and F2's official remakes Luv Ranjan and Anees Bazmee are presently writing the scripts for the two projects. Kapoor also working on Kuttey and Lady Killer.
