Runway 34 release date: Where to watch Ajay Devgn directorial on OTT after its theatrical run

The movie directed and produced by Ajay Devgn also features Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, Angira Dhar and Rakul Preet Singh.

Runway 34 starring Ajay who is also the director, is about to hit cinemas this Friday. It is now reported that the aviation drama will begin streaming on Amazon Prime Video four weeks after its theatrical run.

Though there has been no official confirmation yet from the movie’s makers or the streamer, there is speculation that Amazon Prime Video’s library is where Runway 34 will be eventually housed.

Ajay, who recently was seen in short roles in Gangubai Kathiawadi and RRR portrays Captain Vikrant Khanna, the male lead of the movie. The film follows Captain Vikrant Khanna (Ajay Devgn), a pilot whose flight takes a mysterious course after taking off from an overseas location. It is based on a real life event that occurred in 2015.

Ajay’s FFilms produced the film in association with producer Kumar Mangat Pathak's Panorama Studios. On the technical front, Asem Bajaj has served as the director of photography and Dharmendra Sharma has producedhandled the editing. The film's music score has been composed by Amar Mohile while Jasleen Royal has lent her voice to the songs of the film.

The actor will be seen as a lead actor once again after starring in 2020 historical drama Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior. Amitabh portrays the character of lawyer Narayan Vedant while Rakul Preet plays the co-pilot Captain Tanya. She’ll be seen sharing the screen with Ajay after 2019 film De De Pyaar De.

Boman Irani, Angira Dhar and Avinash Kuri play other supporting roles in the film. Popular YouTuber Ajey Nagar aka CarryMinati will be making his Bollywood debut in this film.
