Indonesian companies for years have hired Korean stars as ambassadors due to the country being one of the largest markets for K-pop and recently, SimInvest unveiled Kim Taehyung, aka V of BTS, as the face of their brand on March 2023.
SimInvest has been collaborating closely with BTS' company HYBE to set up a special fan meet event with Taehyung.

The fan meeting is scheduled for June 11 and it will give fans a chance to spend some time with V and even get a photo with the star.
And surely, Kim Taehyung's brand image got in a lot of investors. Between March 23 and May 5, SimInvest users had the opportunity to register for "SimInvestival Goes to Korea" to get a chance to meet the BTS star.
Now around 80 fortunate winners will embark on a trip to South Korea to meet Taehyung. Ten Gold winners and seventy Silver winners were announced on May 7 via Instagram Live.
What made it even more interesting was that most of the Gold winners are Indonesian men, defying the cliché that male idols only have female fans.
Their investment transactions on the platform ranged from 920,000 to 13 million Indonesian rupiahs (or 61 million INR).

Fans are eagerly awaiting V's solo debut, and it has been said that he would be out with his first official solo debut album in the third quarter of 2023.
