BTS' V's 'Blue' MV: Kim Taehyung takes monochrome journey, ARMY ask 'searching for Yeontan?'

Kim Taehyung, widely recognized as BTS' V, has been soaring to new heights in his career following the release and remarkable success of his solo album, 'Layover.' After unveiling captivating music videos for tracks like "Rainy Days," "Love Me Again," and the title song "Slow Dancing," he recently introduced fans to his latest offering, "Blue."

In this new music video, V dons a strikingly serious demeanour, clad in a sleek black leather jacket. The video kicks off with V striding purposefully down what appears to be a corridor within a building, his steps hurried as he approaches a door. With an increasingly angry expression, he begins to knock vehemently on the door, which only intensifies as no one answers.

What adds to the video's allure is its monochromatic aesthetic, which lends an intense atmosphere for ARMY to immerse themselves in. Towards the conclusion of the video, V is seen sitting on a swing, exuding a sense of melancholy. From the background, someone is spotted releasing his dog, who excitedly bounds towards V.

Following the video's release, ARMY flocked to social media platforms, particularly X (formerly known as Twitter), speculating whether the video depicted V searching for his beloved dog, Yeontan.

About Layover:

As part of his pre-release schedule, Kim Taehyung unveiled three tracks, namely "Scenery," "Winter Bear," and "Snow Flower," on August 28, ahead of the full 'Layover' album release. These songs serve as prelude releases, following the pattern set by his previous music videos, "Love Me Again" and "Rainy Days."

With his debut solo album, V has already shattered records. He achieved the highest first-day sales for any solo artist in Hanteo's history and claimed the top position on various song charts worldwide.

"Slow Dancing," one of the album's tracks, secured the number one spot on iTunes Top Songs charts in over 75 different regions.
