The makers of Anweshippin Kandethum have released a behind-the-scenes video a week after its theatrical release on February 9. Cheruvalli, the setting for the investigative thriller, is spotted in the video.
The main actors, including Tovino Thomas, are seen performing in the video while wearing police uniforms. It also includes brief but significant glimpses into a few light-hearted and crucial moments from the movie's sets.
Anweshippin Kandethum's team also unveiled a success teaser recently, which showed a gang of people stood in the way of Tovino's character and his team's investigation into the murder of a young girl.
In the film, Tovino Thomas portrays SI Anand Narayanan, a rookie cop who works with subordinates to solve a cold case. This is their chance to prove themselves after being suspended due to the investigation into a woman who went missing.
Anweshippin Kandethum BO collections
At the box office, Anweshippin Kandethum had a competent opening. However, because of the excellent promotion by word of mouth and favourable reviews, things for the Darwin Kuriakose-directed film began to improve on Day 2 of its release.
Recent reports state that within the first weekend of its release, Anweshippin Kandethum's global collection surpassed Rs 7 crore. While Mammootty's Bramayugam is doing well, the makers are hoping for the same kind of reception for the movie in theatres in the coming weeks.
The audience is also giving the romantic comedy drama Premalu, which debuted on the same day, overwhelmingly positive reviews.
Who are behind Anweshippin Kandethum?
Renowned writer-director Jinu V Abraham has penned the screenplay for Anweshippin Kandethum. Darwin Kuriakose is making his directorial debut with this investigative thriller.
A stellar ensemble of actors, including Siddique, Indrans, Baburaj, Shammi Thilakan, and Arthana Binu in supporting roles, appear in this movie. The movie's soundtracks were written by Santhosh Narayanan. Anweshippin Kandethum is being produced by Theatre Of Dreams in association with Yoodle Films. Sahil Sharma is the co-producer. The film is scheduled for an OTT release in March 2024, following its theatrical run.
