Scheduled for release on March 15, 2024, the highly anticipated single from BTS' V, 'FRI(END)S' is just hours away. HYBE Labels and BigHit Music have been providing ARMY - the fandom - with back-to-back content, making fans eager to know more about the song.
Now, posting a reminder himself, Kim Taehyung took to his Instagram to share 10 pictures, some of them never seen before, and captioned it in Korean, roughly translating to "I'm going through Highlands~."
He then shared the Instagram post on his stories and wrote, "Oh, tomorrow friends," leading ARMY to believe that the idol is just as excited for the upcoming single as they are. Fans took to various social media platforms to share the pictures, even colour grading the black and white photos, and discussing 'FRI(END)S'.
About FRI(END)S:
In the second teaser shared, Taehyung is seen lying on the road with blood around him and a car over him, as if he had been in an accident. This teaser also gave fans a glimpse of what the song would sound like, as V was heard singing the line "Friends... just for now."
In the music video teaser, Kim Taehyung's "FRI(END)S" is described as a pop-soul R&B track that explores the intricacies of love. According to a press release from BigHit Music, "The track, rooted in the pop-soul R&B genre, offers relatable and clever romantic narratives with lyrics entirely crafted in English."
Where is V?
Taehyung, along with his fellow BTS members Kim Namjoon (RM), Kim Seokjin (Jin), Min Yoongi (Suga), Jung Hoseok (J-Hope), Park Jimin (Jimin), and Jeon Jung-kook (Jungkook), is currently fulfilling his mandatory military duty in South Korea.
Even amidst his military service obligations, V continues to captivate everyone with his unique talent and endearing personality. Recently, several videos surfaced online showcasing entertaining interactions between V and his fellow soldiers.
A heartwarming anecdote has emerged from a soldier regarding V’s generosity in sharing his love for dance. During their time together at the training camp, V reportedly took the initiative to teach the soldier a dance routine. Grateful for the experience, the soldier enthusiastically showcased the moves he learned from V in a video that swiftly gained traction on social media platforms.
His enlistment is scheduled to conclude on June 10, 2025, aligning with the anticipated return of him and his bandmates.
