BTS' V named Cartier's newest brand ambassador, desi ARMY want Deepika Padukone collab

V has now joined other Asian stars including Jisoo of Blackpink, Chinese actress Gong Li, Jackson Wang of Got7 and India's Deepika Padukone in the Cartier family.

V, also known as Kim Taehyung of the most popular boy band in the world BTS, has added another prestigious title to his already impressive repertoire as he becomes the newest brand ambassador for Cartier. The K-pop Idol has been announced as the new face of Cartier's 'Panthere De Cartier' campaign.

He has now joined other Asian stars including Jisoo of Blackpink, Chinese actress Gong Li, Jackson Wang of Got7 and India's very own Deepika Padukone in the Cartier family.

Cartier's decision to feature V in their Panthere De Cartier campaign showcases their diversity and inclusivity by choosing ambassadors from different backgrounds and cultural influences.

Soon after the news broke out BTS fans called ARMY, flooded Twitter with congratulatory messages, however, Desi ARMY was a step ahead in wanting a photoshoot or a meetup of V and Bollywood star Deepika Padukone.

The idol who debuted with BTS in 2013 was already the brand ambassador for French luxury fashion brand Celine and an investment platform SimInvest.

Taehyung, as an idol has released three solo tracks under BTS: Stigma in 2016, Singularity in 2018, and Inner Child in 2020 - and is now gearing up for his solo album debut.
