Shortly after YG Entertainment announced the contract renewal of BLACKPINK members, a new report surfaced claiming that BTS's V (Kim Taehyung) and BLACKPINK's Jennie have reportedly ended their relationship. According to an exclusive report from JTBC, the two idols decided to part ways, although neither had confirmed their dating status.

Despite media outlets and individuals capturing the two together on multiple occasions and allegations of Jennie inviting V and his friend group, including Park Seo Joon, Choi Woo Shik, and Park Hyung Sik, to her private listening party, there have been no official confirmations. Both YG Entertainment and BIGHIT MUSIC have not commented on JTBC’s report.

However, soon after their break up news spread, the BTS fandom called ARMY, which has consistently asserted that Taehyung and the BLACKPINK member were not dating, continued to hold their stance. They even stated that the circulated video on social media is fake and fabricated.

While Jennie shared an identical outfit from the supposed video on her Instagram, Taehyung has not addressed any relationship publicly.

ARMY flooded X (formerly known as Twitter) to laugh at how absurd the situation and timing of the news were.

About V:

BTS member V is preparing to fulfil his mandatory military service. He and RM are said to leave on the same day while Jimin and Jung Kook are scheduled to enlist together.

The agency has provided details and advised fans against gathering near the enlistment camp. Stressing that the area is designated for family members and military personnel, the agency aims to facilitate a smooth and organized enlistment process.

About BLACKPINK:

All members of BLACKPINK — Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa — have successfully extended their contracts with YG Entertainment for group activities. YG Entertainment officially confirmed the contract renewal in a statement provided to media outlet Ilgan Sports.

"Following careful discussions with BLACKPINK, we have signed a new exclusive contract for the group’s activities, based on the strong trust held in each other," YG Entertainment said.
