Samuthirakani directs the film while Trivikram pens the dialogues

Bro, the Telugu remake of Vinodhaya Sitham, written and directed by Samuthirakani, is the only film featuring a major star that’s releasing this month. Pawan Kalyan, Sai Dharam Tej play the lead roles in the July 28 release which has screenplay, dialogues by Trivikram. The film is jointly produced by People Media Factory and ZEE Studios and has music by S Thaman.
The teaser and two songs - My Dear Markandeya, Jaanavule - are out and fans have been anxiously waiting for the trailer since a few days. The much awaited moment is here. “The Blasting Duo @PawanKalyan & @IamSaiDharamTej will walk in to our worlds with the Most awaited Mass Celebration. #BROTrailer will storm your timelines on July 22nd,” the makers wrote.
Confirming the news, the makers released a poster where Pawan Kalyan is sporting a black tee, wearing a locket with matching pants, Sai Dharam Tej is dressed in formal wear while holding a bag and a blazer in both his hands. The exact time of the trailer launch hasn’t been confirmed yet. The pre-release event of the film will be held on July 25, the producer TG Vishwa Prasad announced.
Ketika Sharma, Priya Prakash Varrier, Samuthirakani, Rohini, Rajeswari Nair, Raja, Tanikella Bharani, Vennela Kishore, Subbaraju, Prudhvi Raj, Narra Srinu, Yuva Lakshmi, Devika, Ali Reza and Surya Srinivas form the supporting cast of the film. Sujith Vaasudev is cranking the camera for the drama whose crew includes editor Navin Nooli and production designer AS Prakash as well.
Film buffs are hoping for increased promotional activity surrounding Bro in the coming days and it’s high time that the makers give it the right push before next Friday. Netflix has the post theatrical streaming rights of Bro and will premiere it on OTT in the last week of August/early September. Pawan Kalyan’s OG, with director Sujeeth, is also expected to release in 2023.
