Revanth and Snigdha Sharma have crooned for the peppy number composed by S Thaman
Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej are joining forces for the first time for Bro, the Telugu remake of the direct-to-OTT release Vinodhaya Sitham. Samuthirakani has written the story and is directing the film which has screenplay, dialogues by Trivikram. Noted production house People Media Factory is bankrolling the film in collaboration with ZEE Studios. The drama is set to release on July 28.
A lot of promotional material surrounding the film is out already - the character posters, glimpse and the recently released teaser that was a range on Youtube. With barely three weeks left for Bro’s release, the first single, My Dear Markandeya, was launched today. S Thaman is the music director for the film. Revanth and Snigdha Sharma have crooned for the song shot in a pub set.
Ramajogaiah Sastri has written the lyrics for My Dear Markandeya while Ganesh Swamy and Bhanu are the choreographers. The song has been filmed on the lead stars Pawan Kalyan, Sai Dharam Tej and also has a special appearance by Urvashi Rautela, whose number - Boss Party - for Waltair Veerayya was a hit with Telugu crowds too. By all means, this song is a feast for fans and music buffs alike.
The song takes off with Sai Dharam Tej grooving to the lines - ‘Come on Come on Dance Bro..Yamma Yamma Beats Bro…Zindagi Ne Jukebox Bro’. Pawan Kalyan arrives soon, offering a few words of wisdom on why one can’t take life for granted. ‘Malli putti bhummediki raane raavu nijam telusuko..pakkadigi nidra leche prathi roju pandaga chesuko,’ he asks Sai Dharam Tej to celebrate life.
Urvashi Rautela shakes a leg with the lead stars in the final segment and brings energy to the proceedings. After the impressive teaser, the fans couldn’t have asked for anything more. Ketika Sharma, Priya Prakash Varrier, Samuthirakani, Rohini, Rajeswari Nair, Raja, Tanikella Bharani, Vennela Kishore, Subbaraju, Prudhvi Raj, Narra Srinu, Yuva Lakshmi, Devika, Ali Reza and Surya Srinivas are also cast in key roles. Netflix acquired the post-theatrical streaming rights.
