Brinda marks the OTT debut of Trisha in the Telugu digital space. She plays a sub-inspector of police in this series, which is a cop drama.
Trisha Krishnan is one of the top stars in the south and made her Telugu OTT debut with the SonyLiv series Brinda. But sadly, the series was in the making for the last two years. Finally, the series is ready for a release soon and will be out on August 2, 2024, on Sony Liv.
Meanwhile, the trailer of the show was released today, and Trisha stuns in an author-backed role. We are generally used to seeing Trisha in glamorous roles, but she plays a cop for the first time on OTT and means business. She plays the role of an SI in a small police station in Andhra.
The trailer starts with Trisha being suspended from her job as she is not able to crack a murder case. Cut to the flashback; the series showcases how a vulnerable cop played by Trisha is looked down on her job and how she nabs the criminal is the basic story of the series.

Written and directed by Surya Manoj Vangala, the series also has Indrajith Sukumaran, Jaya Prakash, Aamani, Ravindra Vijay, Anand Sami, and Rakendu Mouli in key roles. The gritty visuals, racy background score, and amazing thrills hold your attention.
More than anything, it is Trisha who steals the show. She is seen in a very performance-oriented role and looks quite intense in her look and performance. Adding Advertising LLP is the production house behind this series and the screenplay is by Surya Manoj Vangala and Padmavathi Malladi.
Dinesh K Babu's camerawork and the production design showcasing the murder case stand out. Brinda will be available for streaming in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali and Hindi.
The makers plan to hold special events in the days to come to promote the show. For now, Trisha's stunning new avatar is a smash hit and leaves us wanting for more. Watch this space for more updates.
