Bridgerton season 4 will also mark the return of Jonathan Bailey, who plays Anthony Bridgerton in the series
Ever since Bridgerton season 3 came to an end, there was buzz about the next story and once it was confirmed that Benedict (Luke Thompson)'s love story will be explored next, all eyes were on who would play his love interest, Sophie Beckett. Now, there's a name who appears to be finalized. It is the Korean-Australian actress Yerin Ha. She will be joining the show for the first time this season.
Yerin Ha has been roped in as the female lead aka Benedict's love interest in Bridgerton season 4, sources informed Variety. For the uninitiated, Bridgerton 4 is inspired from the third Julia Quinn novel, An Offer from a Gentleman. Thus, Benedict and Sophie would meet for the first time in the series, and of course, there is a whole love story, leading to a grand wedding (which has been the theme of Bridgerton).
Benedict is a bohemian who cannot even stand the thought of settling down. This is even though his brothers Colin and Anthony are happily married. Benedict changes his mind about marriage only after he meets a beautiful Lady in Silver at his mother's masquerede ball. That is how he decides the mother to his future kids.
Sophie Beckett is the illegitimate daughter of an earl and one of his maids. Despite being brought up at her father's house, he never acknowledged her as one of his own.
Yerin Ha is a Korean-Australian actress, most popular among the US viewers for her role of Kwan Ha in the series adaptation of the video game, Halo. She has also been a part of the Australian horror film Sissy, apart from shows like Bad Behaviour and Reef Break. Yerin Ha is also a part of Dune: Prophecy (yes, the same with Indian actress Tabu in it).
Jonathan Bailey, who played the role of Anthony till Bridgerton season 2, will be back for season 4. He confirmed the same to TV Insider but did not know who the female lead is (or rather, did not confirm it).
