Bridgerton’s second season is almost here to bring back the glamour and allure of Regency-era England to the silver screen yet again. The show gave viewers a peek into the elegance yet to come in the new season with some new images from the series.

The images are set in an array of situations, from a fencing match to a ballroom dance. Viewers see some familiar faces, such as that of Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) where he is seen fencing and talking to his sister Daphne Basset(Phoebe Dynevor). Some other recurring characters shown in the stills include Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan), Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) and Eloise Bridgerton(Claudia Jessie).

The new season also features some new characters, played by Charithra Chandran and Simone Ashley. Another new character that makes an appearance is an adorable corgi, who is seen being cradled by Simone’s character.

Bridgerton is based on the series of novels of the same name written by Julia Quinn. Set in Regency era London,the series follows the lives of the distinguished Bridgerton family as they navigate their lives. While the first season’s main story arc followed the eldest daughter Daphne and her relationship with the Duke of Hastings, Simon Bassett(Regé-Jean Page).

The upcoming season will revolve around Anthony, and his relationship with another aristocratic family called the Sharmas. Julie Andrews is also expected to reprise her role as the voice of Lady Whistledown.

The series was created by Chris Van Dusen and produced by Shonda Rhimes for Netflix. The show has been renewed for a third as well as fourth season.

The second season of Bridgerton will premiere on March 25 on Netflix.
