Bramayugam, one of the most anticipated upcoming projects of Malayalam cinema in 2024 is now gearing up to hit the big screens. The period-horror thriller, which features megastar Mammootty in the lead role, is helmed by Bhoothakaalam fame director Rahul Sadasivan. The much-awaited project features Arjun Ashokan and actor-director Sidharth Bharathan in pivotal roles.

As per the recent updates, Bramayugam, which is slated to release on February 15, 2024 is confirmed to have a massive opening at the box office. Interestingly, the period-horror thriller is reportedly set to emerge as the biggest overseas release in the career of its leading man, Mammootty.

According to the latest updates, Bramayugam is set to have around 400 screens across Kerala, while considering both the regular shows and the fans' shows. Even though the Mammootty starrer is an experimental project that is being made in the black-and-white format it is getting a remarkable release in the state. Things are not different when it comes to overseas release, as the Rahul Sadasivan directorial is set to have a humongous release in over 22 countries across the globe.

Considering the extraordinary release and the massive pre-release hype created by the Bramayugam trailer and promotional events, it is safe to assume that the Mammootty starrer might have a massive opening at the worldwide box office and has all the chances to mint around Rs. 5 crore, on Day 1.
