Bramayugam Box Office Day 1 collection – Mammootty's film gets the second biggest opening of 2024

Bramayugam, the horror thriller which features Mammootty in the lead role, has opened to excellent reviews. Reportedly, the Rahul Sadasivan directorial is performing exceptionally at the box office.

Bramayugam, one of the most anticipated Malayalam films of the year, has finally hit the big screens. The period-horror thriller, which features megastar Mammootty, Arjun Ashokan, and Sidharth Bharathan, in the lead roles, has received excellent reviews from both the audiences and critics. As per the recent updates, the movie which is helmed by Rahul Sadasivan has been performing exceedingly well at the box office. Bramayugam has reportedly crossed the Rs. 5 crore mark at the Kerala box office alone.

Bramayugam gets the second-biggest opening of 2024

According to recent updates from trade experts, Bramayugam has made the second-biggest opening of 2024. If the reports are to be believed, the period-horror thriller has made a total opening collection of around Rs. 9 crore from the worldwide box office on its release date. However, the exact Day 1 collection of the Mammootty starrer is yet to be revealed. The box office analysts, however, have confirmed that the period-horror thriller has made a total collection of over Rs. 3.5 crore from the Kerala box office, alone. Bramayugam gets extra shows in Kerala and overseas centers

Interestingly, as we predicted earlier, the excellent reviews have resulted in Bramayugam getting a massive number of extra shows in Kerala and overseas centers on its release day. As per the reports, Mammootty’s period-horror thriller has experienced an excellent audience rush right from the afternoon shows on its release day. The extraordinary reviews and great word-of-mouth publicity have ensured that Rahul Sadasivan’s passion project will have an excellent first weekend too, at the worldwide box office.

Mammootty appeared in the role of a powerful Brahmin man named Kudamon Potti in the movie which features Arjun Ashokan and Sidharth Bharathan, in the key roles. Amalda Liz and Manikandan Achari appeared in other key roles in the movie, which is jointly scripted by director Rahul Sadasivan and renowned writer TD Ramakrishnan.

Christo Xavier composed the songs and the original score. Shehnad Jalal is the director of photography. Shafique Mohammed Ali handled the editing. Jothish Shankar headed the production design team. Bramayugam is produced by Chakravarthy Ramachandra and S Sashikanth, under the banners Night Shift Studios and Y Not Studios.
