Bramayugam box office collection – The period horror thriller, which marked the first onscreen collaboration of Mammootty and director Rahul Sadasivan was released on February 15, 2024. The movie, which is made in black-and-white format, has now emerged as the third highest-grosser of 2024, surpassing Jayaram’s investigative thriller Abraham Ozler. As per the recent updates, Bramayugam has now made a total box office collection of Rs. 60 crore from its worldwide run.

Recently, the makers of Bramayugam took to their official social media handles and confirmed that the movie has now crossed the Rs. 60 crore mark at the box office, with a special update. The team also revealed a new poster for the film featuring Amalda Liz (who played Yakshi in the film), wishing her a happy birthday. The new update has left both Mammootty fans and Malayalam cine-goers highly excited. The period horror thriller has now surpassed the lifetime collections of Abraham Ozler to become the third highest-grossing Malayalam film of 2024.

It is indeed a massive achievement for the experimental film, which is made in black-and-white film. In a recent interview with online media, director Rahul Sadasivan stated that the team never expected a success of this magnitude, even though they were sure that the Mammootty starrer would impress the audience. The great success of Bramayugam is definitely inspiring for all film industry members who are set to try something different.

Bramayugam box office prediction

The Mammootty starrer, which kicked off its journey at the box office on a high note, however, has slowed down after the release of the recent blockbuster Manjummel Boys. However, Bramayugam is still experiencing a decent audience rush, which suggests that the movie might touch the Rs. 70 crore mark with its final collection.

Well, the Rahul Sadasivan directorial still has more than 10 days left in theatres before marking its grand OTT release on the famous platform Sony LIV. So, the movie can perform even better on its last weekend at the theatres, considering the rave reviews. As reported earlier, the makers have not finalised the OTT release date of the film yet. A major update on the same is expected to be out in a few days.
