Brahmastra: Ranbir Kapoor reveals how Rajamouli’s father influenced the upcoming mythological fantasy

Brahmastra: Ranbir Kapoor reveals Ayan Mukerji did a reshoot after receiving instructions from Rajamouli’s father

S.S. Rajamouli and father KV Vijayendra Prasad are a father-son duo that has established their presence when it comes to creating big budget movies. Ranbir Kapoor has now revealed that Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji made the team reshoot parts of the movie after receiving instructions from Prasad.

A Pinkvilla report quoted Ranbir as saying, “After your father watched the film. Ayan made us reshoot for four days after receiving suggestions from SS Rajamouli’s father. This is because he values him so much and we all are very grateful for his contribution to our film.”

KV Vijayendra Prasad, who is a big name in the Telugu film industry, has worked on some of his son’s most successful movies such as Magadheera, Baahubali: The Beginning, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and RRR.

S.S. Rajamouli, who has become a household name across the country following the success of the Baahubali movies, is presenting Brahmastra Part One: Shiva in the South Indian languages.

The movie’s makers met in Visakhapatnam to release a teaser for the mythological adventure and to announce when the first trailer will be dropped. Telugu superstar Nagarjuna, who is a part of the movie’s cast, also appeared in the launch event via a video message.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, Brahmastra is a trilogy based on Indian mythology starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead. The movie also features Mouni Roy, Nagarjuna, Amitabh Bachchan among others in important roles.

The first trailer for the movie will be released on June 15. The movie, which has become one of the most-anticipated movies around the country, is slated to hit theatres on September 9, 2022.
