Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva's enormous popularity has forced filmmaker Ayan Mukerji to begin production on the film's subsequent portions. As the director announced, the movie has earned Rs 360 crore at the global box office. He turned to social media and sent a message to his admirers.

Ayan wrote in a post, “BRAHMĀSTRA Part One is 11 days old today, and on this Monday (day of Shiv 🕉) putting out some good pure energy for… What the Film has achieved so far! The Journey it will continue over the next few weeks as the festive season comes upon us! All the Audience Feedback we have received (good, and not so good) - all of which we are absorbing and learning deeply from!! All the AMAZING Fan Theories out there (some of which we’re definitely going to use in our Future!) PART TWO: DEV & The ASTRAVERSE! I didn’t think I would be ready to get back to work as soon as this first baby was delivered, but the Energy from our Audiences has given me the Energy to jump straight back into it…! Brahmastra is the most recent Bollywood movie of 2022 to earn Rs 200 crores at the box office. On Sunday, the film's tenth day, it brought in Rs 17 crore. It has significantly surpassed the Rs 350 crore mark globally and outperformed The Kashmir Files' lifetime box office totals according to Hindustan Times.

ETimes reports that Ranbir Kapoor responded to the enormous success of Brahmastra and stated, “I feel the overwhelming love from the audience for the film is the biggest Brahmastra we have. I am extremely happy and proud, for receiving these reactions. I really want to say thank you to every fan and viewer from the bottom of my heart. I think this is a great movie to bring the audience back to cinemas. This is all we needed. People with displaying their emotions, getting entertained, laughing and clapping – this is what cinema is all about.”

Brahmastra Part One: Shiva the first instalment of a fantasy series, hit theatres on September 9. Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus, and Starlight Pictures are the movie's producers. Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, Alia Bhatt, and Mouni Roy also appear in the movie.
