Boyfriends And Girlfriends release date: When and where to watch the Riddhi Sen starrer romantic series

Helmed by Suvankar Paul, the Hoichoi original series appears to be a delightful mesh of millennial love stories and friendships knit together.,

“This is my and my boyfriend’s story,” claims Ishaa Saha’s Amrita in the trailer of the Hoichoi original series Boyfriends And Girlfriends. The shot then swiftly transitions to another girl mouthing the same line, followed by a cutaway shot of a young man claiming it to be his story and his boyfriend’s life. The official trailer released on August 30 gives a sneak-peak into the first rush of romance as it develops into serious relationships, to disagreements and fights into hitting the rocky road. Dating via cellphones to bringing up incompatibilities, the trailer is peppered with relatable moments from a millennial love story.

What do we know so far about Boyfriends And Girlfriends?

The series stars Riddhi Sen, Rwitobroto Mukherjee, Ishaa Saha, Ujaan Chatterjee, Adrija Roy, Madhurima Ghosh in pivotal roles. It is written by Mainak Bhaumik, directed by Suvankar Paul, and presented by SVF Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.

The series has Ujaan play the role of an aspiring musician who is caught between his roommate Amrita, his friends, and his ex-girlfriend Riya (Madhurima Ghosh). The synopsis on the OTT platform reads about the twitterpated youngsters and childhood best friends Ujaan (Riddhi Sen), Soumya (Rwitobroto Mukherjee), and Bunty (Ujaan Chatterjee) finding love and friendship in a tangle with their romantic relationships on hand, and their friendships on the other. “When we lock eyes, we feel there is a connection somewhere,” says someone in the trailer. And there’s that oh-so-familiar instance when one of them asks their friend to not talk to their ex. The trio plans to head out to Spain in the Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara style (something which a lot of us might have planned on jumping on to ever since the film was released!). The trailer comes full circle with a more mature Bunty laughing back at their childish plans.
