Bougainvillea character posters: Kunchacko Boban, Jyothirmayi, and Fahadh Faasil’s roles revealed

Amal Neerad recently revealed the character posters of his upcoming project Bougainvillea, featuring Kunchacko Boban, Jyothirmayi, Fahadh Faasil, and others on social media.

Bougainvillea, the upcoming project directed by cinematographer-filmmaker Amal Neerad, is gearing up to hit the theatres on October 17, 2024. The movie, which is touted to be a psychological thriller, features Kunchacko Boban and Jyothirmayi, in the lead roles. Fahadh Faasil is making a special appearance in the film, which is rumoured to be loosely inspired by the popular Malayalam novel, Ruthinte Lokam. The makers revealed the Bougainvillea character posters on social media, recently.

Director Amal Neerad and team revealed the long-awaited Bougainvillea character posters, featuring the main star cast, on social media. Kunchacko Boban is set to play the role of Royce Thomas in the much-awaited film. “As Royce Thomas……. BOUGAINVILLEA…. An Amal Neerad Movie!!!” wrote the leading man, who shared his character poster on his official social media handles. Jyothirmayi, who is set to make a comeback to films after a long gap with Bougainvillea, is appearing in the role of Reethu, the wife of Royce Thomas.

Fahadh Faasil, who is set to make a special appearance in the film, is playing the role of David Koshy. Even though it is revealed that Kunchacko Boban and Jyothirmayi are playing a married couple in the film, nothing much has been revealed about the character played by the National Award-winning actor, yet. From the lead pair’s character posters, it is safe to assume that Bougainvillea, which is co-written by Ruthinte Lokam writer Lajo Jose, indeed has some similarities with the acclaimed Malayalam novel.

Sharaf U Dheen, Srinda, and Veena Nandakumar’s roles in Bougainvillea

Amal Neerad and the team also recently revealed the character posters of popular actors Sharaf U Dheen, Srinda, and Veena Nandakumar, who play pivotal roles in Bougainvillea. The Anjaam Pathiraa actor is appearing in the role of Biju in the film, and sports an intense look in the poster. Srinda appears as Rema in the film, which features Veena Nandakumar in the role of Meera. More updates on Bougainvillea, especially the highly anticipated teaser or trailer of the film, are expected to be out in a few days.
