Boomerang: Rukmini Maitra shares photos with Jeet as they gear up for the film

Rukmini Maitra is one of the busiest heroines of Tollywood at this moment. She completed the shooting of Binodini – Ekti Natir Upakhyan with Ram Kamal Mukherjee. Soon after the shooting got over, she geared up to play Satyabati – wife of Byomkesh Bakshi – in Birsa Dasgupta’s Byomkesh O Durgo Rohoshyo. On the other hand, she is pairing up with Dev in Srijit’s yet-untitled film. In the meantime, Rukmini paired with Jeet also and started the shooting of the film Boomerang. The actor and the actress recently posted the photo on social media.

Debchandrima will also appear in Boomerang, but not opposite Jeet. She will pair up with Satyam Bhattacharya. The film is directed by Souvik Kundu and produced by Jeet.

In an earlier interview with OTTplay, Satyam said, “I worked with Prosenjit Chatterjee before in Nirontor and Aay Khuku Aay. Then I got a chance to work with Dev in Byomkesh and Durgo Rohosyo. Now I will work with Jeetda. I am looking forward to it.” In the film, he plays the character of Jeet’s friend.

On the other hand, Debchandrima became popular with serials like Sajher Bati and Saheber Chithi. She recently appeared in the series Homestay Murders. Now she is appearing on the big screen with superstar Jeet.

According to sources, Boomerang is a comedy and delves into a theatre production.
