Bohurupi actress Koushani Mukherjee enjoys film’s success with her song Dakatiya Bashi

Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy’s Bohurupi stormed the box office. On average, more than a hundred shows have been houseful. The film’s songs are also a hit. The song Dakatia Bashi went viral. Koushani Mukherjee danced to this song at the bhasan of Ahiritola’s Durga Puja. She also played sindoor with minister Shashi Panja. 

Koushani, in a video message, thanked her fans for this raving success and wished Shubho Bijaya. She then went to Ahiritola, wearing a saree with red borders and having jasmine flowers in her bun. She had golden jewelry and looked like a diva. At the pandal, she danced with local people. The pandal was crowded to see her performance. 

The film is emerging as a major success. As per a ticket seller app, more than thousands of tickets are being sold each hour. Director Shiboprosad Mukherjee said, “The night shows are also houseful in many places. On Monday, the day offices and schools are open, the shows are still houseful. It is a hit on single screens as well. Initially, the hall owners were doubtful whether the night shows would run well. But after seeing people’s demand, they increased the show numbers. It is a huge achievement for us and Bengali cinema.” The film will be released outside Bengal on October 18. According to the X handle page of Windows, around 2.5 lakhs of people watched Bohurupi in the last five days.
