Bodhon 2 actress Sandipta Sen gets a shoutout from her husband

Sandipta’s new web series was released on Hoichoi two days back.

Tollywood’s newly married couple Sandipta Sen and Soumya Mukherjee went on a gorgeous dinner date at a five-star hotel in central Kolkata. Bodhon-actress Sandipta tied the knot with Soumya Mukherjee, Hoichoi’s CEO, at the beginning of December. But she got back to work soon after that. The couple did not have the time for a honeymoon because of the release of Bodhon 2.

Sandipta’s new web series was released on Hoichoi two days back. The series created a buzz. Hence the couple went to a dinner at Oberoi to celebrate the success of the show. It was a romantic date in the backdrop of Christmas.

The table was decorated with flowers and candles along with refreshment drinks. Sandipta wore a yellow dress with a black overcoat. Soumya had a tee shirt with an off-white jacket.

Bodhon 2, where Sandipta plays Raka Sen, was directed by Aditi Roy. Sandipta shared the screen with Koushik Roy. In the show, Raka Sen travels to a village with his husband who is a government officer. Raka seems rampant violence against women perpetuated by the son of a local leader. She fights back for the rights of these women.

Sandipta and Soumya got married on December 7 at PC Chandra Garden. Famous woman priest Nandini Bhoumik presided over the ceremony. They had been seeing each other for one and a half years.
