According to Variety, Blue 52 promises a poignant family tale set against the backdrop of a serene Kerala island. Neha Dhupia and Adil Hussain bring depth and experience to the roles of Ashish's parents, while Yadav Shashidhar breathes life into the son who navigates life in this idyllic yet isolated haven. Blue 52 also marks the second collaboration of Egyptian Cinematographer Mahmoud Basher and director Ali El Arabi. The duo previously worked in Captains of Zaatari, which made a big splash at the Sundance Film Festival in 2021.
Blue 52 will be showcasing some behind-the-scenes of the workers at the stadium, their lives and career, who worked at the World Cup 2022.
