Bloody Daddy star Shahid Kapoor is set to work with Malayalam director Rosshan Andrrews in a cop thriller.
Malayalam director Rosshan Andrrews is set to make his Bollywood debut with a cop film starring Shahid Kapoor in the lead. The upcoming movie is the remake of one of Rosshan's successful Malayalam police thrillers, Mumbai Police (2013).
Rosshan has made a career making cop thrillers. And Mumbai Police was one of the biggest hits in his career.

"Rosshan Andrrews is a veteran filmmaker whose Malayalam filmography is spectacular. We have spent many months together now, and it will be a pleasure to work with such a fantastic cinematic mind. I can't wait to bring this exhilarating, entertaining, and thrilling story to the masses," he added.
The film is scheduled to go on floors in the second half of 2023 and is slated for release in 2024.
Meanwhile, Shahid is waiting for the release of Bloody Daddy . The remake of the French film Sleepless Night, the movie is a direct-to-stream release. And it will premiere on JioCinema on June 9.
