Sanjay Kapoor plays one of the antagonists in the Shahid Kapoor starrer Bloody Daddy.
Sanjay Kapoor adds that he stepped away from playing heroes because he wasn't getting enough meaty roles and that he's finally found his stride with more performance-oriented characters. Filming for Prem began in 1989, but it wasn't released until 1995, marking the beginning of his acting career. He then went on to star in other commercially successful films like Raja, Auzaar and Sirf Tum before deciding to hold off till he found the correct projects.
As per PTI, Sanjay said that one needs to have some patience. He won't suggest a miracle will occur, but if one puts forth an honest effort, good things will come their way. He is a walking, talking example of that very thing happening. One has to be prepared for their moment in the spotlight.
As an actor, Sanjay did not engage in conduct that he would be ashamed to be linked to. It's not up to an actor if a project succeeds or fails, but it is up to them to be a part of the right project, and he did that.
The actor began focusing on supporting roles in the new millennium, appearing in films like Darna Mana Hai, LOC Kargil, Luck By Chance and Lust Stories as well as OTT series like The Fame Game and The Gone Game.
For this reason, Sanjay avoided crappy roles, explaining that once you get into them, it becomes impossible to come back.
Nearly twenty years after his first role as a hero, the actor feels he has matured enough to avoid clichés. He is learning and growing as an actor with each new character he plays. This is not a reiteration. Both The Fame Game and Gone Game are distinct from one another.
On Friday, Sanjay's newest film, Bloody Daddy became available to watch online via JioCinema. Shahid Kapoor stars as the protagonist in Ali Abbas Zafar's action flick. In the course of one fatal night, Sumair (Shahid) must contend with the white-collar drug lords, dishonest pals, vicious crime bosses, homicidal narcs, and honest police officers of Gurugram. Sanjay assumes the persona of Hamid, a drug king.
He appreciates Ali casting him as Hamid. What little he heard at the time seemed really thrilling. He stated that he has played bad guys before, but never anyone suave and a little kinky.
The actor will next be seen in the Sriram Raghavan-directed thriller Merry Christmas alongside Vijay Sethupatji and Katrina Kaif, as well as Homi Adjania's Murder Mubarak and the series Laal Batti with Prakash Jha.
Sanjay claims that he has grown as an artist thanks to his experiences working with some of the most respected directors and writers in Bollywood. A good director will inspire an actor to try something new every time they work with them. One learns something about themselves as well. Being on set is a constant learning experience. Recently, the actor has had the privilege of working with some truly amazing people. He is receiving wonderful possibilities now, and he is quite busy.
