It was only a few days ago that the makers of Blood Money officially announced its arrival on a leading OTT platform. The movie directed by Sarjun KM has been made as a straight-to-OTT release from the beginning. Priya Bhavani Shankar plays the lead in the film which has Kishore, Shirish and Subbu Panchu playing pivotal roles.

Billed as a thriller, Blood Money is Priya's first project as a lead. She plays journalist Rachel in it, and Shirish is her colleague in the film. Subbu Panchu plays their boss in the media organization they work for.

What's Blood Money all about?

Two men from Tamil Nadu are awaiting death sentence in Kuwait. A few politicians and Rachel and trying their best to stop their hanging by indulging in talks with the Government of Kuwait. The family members of the two men are also putting their best foot forward, reaching out to several influential people.

Luckily, Rachel comes across a few valuable evidences which are adequate to save the men who are expected to be hanged in 30 hours' time. Will she be able to pull off this time-bound rescue mission?

When and where to watch Blood Money online?

The film will have a direct-to-OTT release on Zee5 on December 24. Sathish Raghunathan has composed music for the movie which has cinematography by G Balamurugan and editing by Prasanna GK. The film's story happens in Tamil Nadu, Sri Lanka and Kuwait. A lion's share of portions of Blood Money were shot in and around Rameswaram.

The makers had shared a few working stills earlier on social media though the project's title was kept under the wraps. Arya and Venkat Prabhu had revealed its first look recently. It was Vishnu Vishal who had unveiled the teaser a week ago.
