A fresh batch of the usual mind-bending speculative fiction themes is previewed in a new trailer: Michael Cera reassures Annie Murphy that having her identity stolen for a Salma Hayek Netflix show is no big deal. Paparazzo Zazie Beetz pursues troubled celebrity Clara Rugaard. Paapa Essiedu comforts Anjana Vasan as she struggles with her murderous tendencies. Every narrative centres on a different, unsettling reality.
The five stories, whose titles are Joan Is Awful, Loch Henry, Beyond the Sea, Mazey Day, and Demon 79, are each hinted to in the trailer. Every narrative centres on a different, unsettling reality. Salma Hayek Pinault and Annie Murphy from Schitt Creek are the stars of the first. The latter plays the lead role in Joan Is Awful and discovers that an OTT service called Streamberry has turned her life into a series. In the show, Salma portrays Joan.
