Bill Murray will co-star in Wes Andrson’s new film that will begin its shoot soon. The veteran comedian will be joining Tilda Swinton in the cast for the film. This will mark Murray’s 10th collaboration with Wes.

The duo had earlier worked on movies namely The Grand Budapest Hotel, Moonrise Kingdom, Fantastic Mr Fox, Isle of Dogs, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, The Royal Tenenbaums, The Darjeeling Limited, Rushmore and The French Dispatch, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival.

While Murray does not commit to a large number of movies these days, Wes Anderson seems to have Murray available for his films almost exclusively. Sources close to the film have confirmed his casting. The film which also stars Tilda Swinton will start its shoot soon in Spain according to a report on Variety.

Tilda Swinton talked about the upcoming Wes Anderson film with Variety in June. Though the film is shooting in Spain, “it’s not about Spain”, said Swinton.

As per Variety, the project which was planned to shoot in Rome, moved to Spain earlier this year.

Meanwhile, Murray has his music documentary New Worlds: The Cradle of Civilization playing at Cannes. Directed by Andrew Muscato, the documentary sees Murray take the stage with famous cellist Jan Vogler.

Also produced by Murray, New Worlds: The Cradle of Civilization, filmed on a hot summer night in Athens, Greece, captures the final performance of Bill Murray and Jan Vogler’s 2018 European New Worlds tour.
