Bijoya actor Shaheb Chattopadhyay mourns the loss of his elder sister

Shaheb Chattopadhyay, whose Bijoya is currently streaming on Hoichoi, lost his sister last year's September. Within less than a year, he lost another member of his family.

Shaheb Chatterjee, whose Bijoya is currently streaming on Hoichoi, lost his sister last year's September. Within less than a year, he lost another member of his family. The actor shared the news on social media. 

Shaheb lost his elder sister on Thursday. He shared several of her photos on social media. Some of them showed her in a smiling pose, in others, she was enjoying a marriage ceremony. In such a ceremony, Saheb's sister was seen with a tube in her nose. What happened? It was not known. Shaheb posted on Friday 'I lost my elder sister yesterday morning. Please pray for her soul. Om Sai Ram.' 

Shaheb lost his younger sister Piasi Chatterjee last year. She came from Delhi for her daughter's treatment but suddenly got ill. DEngue was detected. Piasi, 40, was admitted to the critical care in Belle Vue. The situation got so bad that Shaheb asked for blood on Facebook. He wrote 'We want donors with the blood group A+'. 

But after some time, Shaheb wrote that no donor was needed. He wrote ' I want to thank every donor who came from far to help my sister by giving blood. But with great sadness let me tell you that she is no more... Dengue finished everything within three nights. Hence there is no more need for any donor. Please pray for her soul. Om Sai Ram.'

Shaheb plays the antagonist in Sayantan Ghosal’s Bijoya. The show features Swastika Mukherjee, Bidipta Chakraborty, and others. The show delves into the infamous ragging incident in one of the esteemed universities in Kolkata.
