Bigg Boss Ultimate release date: When and where to watch Kamal Haasan hosted reality show on OTT

The reality show is the first-ever OTT version of Bigg Boss Tamil.

Within weeks of the conclusion of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 5, Disney+ Hotstar and STAR Vijay are preparing to resurrect the popular show with the introduction of the first-ever OTT version, dubbed Bigg Boss Ultimate to keep viewers hooked on the drama and fun. Some of the best contenders from previous seasons will return to the screens for a second opportunity at capturing the coveted title in the 24-hour competition.

The addition of the star Kamal Haasan as the host of Bigg Boss Ultimate after hosting five seasons of Bigg Boss Tamil on television, adds to the excitement. The much-anticipated launch of Bigg Boss Ultimate will air exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar on Sunday, January 30 at 6:30 p.m.

With new drama, new challenges, and a daily dose of entertainment, the program will reunite some of Bigg Boss Tamil's most popular and celebrated TV competitors. After great anticipation and agitation among watchers, Disney+ Hotstar gave viewers a first peek at the candidates for the first digital season.

Ex-contestants, namely Bigg Boss Tamil Season 1 fame Snehan and Maria Juliana, Bigg Boss Tamil Season 2 fame Thaadi Balaji, Bigg Boss Tamil season 3 fame Vanitha Vijaykumar, Abhirami Venkatachalam, and Bigg Boss Tamil Season 4 alums Suresh Chakravarthy and Anita Sampath will battle against each other, as well as with the unrevealed contestants, to be crowned as the ultimate champions of Bigg Boss Ultimate.

From January 30, 6:30 pm, all Disney+ Hotstar users will be able to watch Bigg Boss Ultimate 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Aside from 24-hour streaming, users will also get to watch a one-hour special episode every day at 9 pm starting January 31, 2022.

Bigg Boss Tamil Season 5 ended a few weeks back, and Raju Jeyamohan was declared the winner, whereas Priyanka Deshpande became the runner-up.
