He also chose Balaji Murugadoss as his favourite contestant in the house,

The interesting task which was offered by the Bigg Boss to its contestants on day two was to form two groups and enact the roles of journalists and celebrities. Every contestant is required to answer the questions of other housemates who are seen playing the roles of journalists in the house.
During his turn to play the celebrity's role, Thadi Balaji, who was a contestant in Bigg Boss Tamil 2, answered all the questions from a few housemates in a polite and diplomatic manner. The comedian said that he shows no favoritism while taking a dig at the housemates.
While answering to the question asked by Suja, he explained, "I never intend to hurt others with my sarcastic replies or funny remarks in the house. I do it only to entertain all of you." When Suja requested him to come up with any popular dialogue of his from his past films, he recollected a few memories associated with working in Vaali.
He reminisced, "I had to utter a lengthy dialogue which was written by Vivekh sir. As Simran ma'am had to leave early, the entire dialogue was picturized in a single shot. She gave me 5,000 immediately after I pulled it off."
Though Vanitha tried to ask a few controversial questions, Balaji came up with diplomatic answers. The former asked who according to the latter has more chances to win the Bigg Boss title. Balaji said he will try his best to perform in the house, and added that his intention is to entertain the housemates.
"If I concentrate only on winning the title, I won't be able to entertain others. But that doesn't mean I'm not interested in emerging as the winner. My primary aim is to prove that I can still laugh people with my punchlines and situational humour. If not me, I would like Balaji Murugadoss to win the title," he said.
