The much-awaited new format of the show commenced on January 30,
Vanitha Vijayakumar
It's been only two days into Bigg Boss Ultimate and Vanitha Vijayakumar, one of the controversial contestants of the show in its earlier season, lost her temper while interacting with Shariq Riaz. The latter was chosen as the house leader by the Bigg Boss for the week; he was informed the same through a special phone call.
Vanitha started expressing her displeasure in the house after she realized that coffee powder was not included in the list of things provided to the contestants. An annoyed Shariq, who couldn't stand her tantrums, came closer to one of the cameras installed outside the house and was seen expressing his lack of interest in dealing with the drama.
A peeved Vanitha blatantly said she was in no mood to perform any task and demanded that she needed coffee to drink, no matter what. Later, she was seen dumping the tea packets and said that she will ensure no one in the house drinks tea until she gets coffee.
She also shouted at Shariq and went on to say that she did not come to the house to perform tasks, but to be as herself. Balaji Murugadoss, who was listening to her, said that she can't decide things on her own and that she is not the owner of the house in a polite manner.
A promo video released by Disney+ Hotstar had Bigg Boss asking the 14 housemates to form themselves into two groups, as journalists and Bigg Boss Ultimate contestants. Snehan, who belonged to the journalist group, asked Niroop why he didn't turn up for a press meet in time.
Similarly, Abhirami, one of the members from the journalists group, asked Julie if the latter was trying to imitate Oviya in the house, to which she said no.
