Kamal Haasan, the host for all the five seasons of Bigg Boss Tamil, which began in 2017, had recently announced that the team is coming up with Bigg Boss Ultimate, a new format of the popular show. The much-awaited show commenced from Sunday and is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.

The social media handle of the digital platform has been keeping the fans of the show entertained by providing regular hints about its contestants. It has now been officially announced that there are 14 participants in the show; their names have also been revealed. Interestingly, all of them were former contestants of the show. Balaji Murugadoss

A popular model and an aspiring actor, Balaji emerged as the first runner-up of Bigg Boss Tamil 4. One among the most loved contestant of the season, he is all set to make his debut with a movie which will be produced under Libra Productions.

Vanitha Vijayakumar

One of the controversial contestants of Bigg Boss Tamil 3, the actress was evicted after three weeks. She entered the house again on the 50th day and exited after a stay of more than a month's time in the house.

Suresh Chakravarthy

The actor-director-producer, who was a participant in Bigg Boss Tamil 4, had his share of controversies in the house. His ugly spat with Sanam Shetty was quite an infamous one. Suresh currently has a slew of films ready for release.

Julie aka Maria Juliana

Julie was perhaps the most controversial contestant of Bigg Boss Tamil 1. She faced allegations of constant lying against a few housemates who she disliked. She was massively trolled on social media even after her exit from the house.

Suja Varunee

The actress-host entered the house on the 52nd day of Bigg Boss Tamil 1. After trying her best to impress the viewers by performing tasks properly, she got evicted after staying there for more than a month's time.

Snehan

The busy lyricist, who shot to fame with his stint in Bigg Boss house during the first season, is back with a vengeance. He was equally liked and disliked by many viewers and ended up as the first runner-up.

Abhirami Venkatachalam

The actress, who was one of the contestants in Bigg Boss Tamil 3, stayed at the house for around two months before getting evicted. She regularly hit the headlines for her constant quarrel with a few housemates.

Abhinay Vaddi

The budding actor, who is Savitri-Gemini Ganesan's grandson, was one of the contestants from Bigg Boss Tamil 5. He managed to stay inside for 77 days before he was asked to leave.

Thamarai Selvi

The popular theatre artist rose to fame with her stint in Bigg Boss Tamil 5 and earned a lot of fans with her matured performance in the house. She managed to stay inside for around 100 days and was evicted a few days before the grand finale.

Shariq Riaz

The young celebrity kid was in the news for his closeness with Aishwarya Dutta, his housemate in Bigg Boss Tamil 2. He managed to win a lot of votes from the viewers, but could manage to stay only for close to 50 days.

Anitha Sampath

Model and actress Anitha was one contestant who won appreciation from Bigg Boss for following all the rules in the house appropriately. In the fourth season of the show, she got evicted after staying inside for 84 days.

Thadi Balaji

Actor Balaji managed to hit the headlines regularly for his quarrel with his ex wife Nithya, who was also a contestant in the house. He stayed for around 100 days in the Bigg Boss Tamil 2 house.

Suruthi Periyasamy

Model-actress Suruthi, who was one of the contestants in Bigg Boss Tamil 5, got evicted on the 35th day. She was quite emotional while giving her speech post her exit and expressed her liking for her housemates Pavani and Mathumitha.

Niroop Nandhakumar

Model Niroop ended up as the fourth runner-up of Bigg Boss Tamil 5 which culminated recently. In his first interaction with Bigg Boss in Bigg Boss Ultimate, he has nominated Abhirami and Suresh.
